歌詞とはいかようにも解釈できるものだが、対立する相手を非難するような内容や「You Had To Be Set Free（お前は解放される必要があった）」との一節、またジョーイ・ジョーディソンに“#1”のナンバーがついていたことから、同曲は昨年末バンドを脱退したジョーディソンのことを歌っているのではないかとの憶測が流れ始めた。
ジョーディソンはバンドが彼の脱退を発表した数週間後、それを否定するコメントを出しているが、彼がもはやバンドの一員でないのは間違いないようだ。フロントマンのコリィ・テイラーは先週、英BBCラジオ1のインタビューで「俺ら、ポール（・グレイ）がいないってこと、それにジョーと決別するというヘヴィな決断をしなくてはならないって事実を受け入れなくてはならず、打ちのめされた」と話した。
バンドはまだジョーディソンが脱退した理由、新ドラマーの名前を明らかにしていないが、テイラーは「俺を信じてくれ。その時が来たら、君らが必要としていることについて答える」という。
